T-Storms Likely Sunday, Monday

The storms could bring damaging wind gusts and localized flooding.

Thunderstorms were expected to hit central and eastern Massachusetts Sunday morning into Monday.

The National Weather Service said the storms could bring damaging wind gusts and localized flooding. South and southeast coastal New England were expected to get hit the worst.

Sunday: Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Showers and thunderstorms likely between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and then after 1 a.m. High near 82. Wind gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Monday: Patchy fog before 10 a.m. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. High near 81. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tuesday: A slight chance of showers before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
