This Grey Ghost Is Kryptonite To His Opponents

He might be related to the fictional comic book villain, but the fiendishly good year of Westford Academy boys' golf captain Lance Luther has earned him the title of Westford Patch Athlete of the Week.

In addition to his skills on the links, helping the Grey Ghosts to a 10-5 final regular season record, Luther has also helped raise the game of his teammates and bring a sense of camaraderie this year as well.

"Great kid, and a real comedian if you ever get a chance to talk to him," said Westford Academy athletic director Dan Twomey. "But he's also a real leader. When he's out there, he's coaching some of the younger kids, he's just a great asset to our team all around."
