Thomas of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Westford Receives Good Neighbor Award from Northeast Association of REALTORS

Leslie Thomas, a sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Westford office, has been awarded the Northeast Association of REALTORS®(NEAR) Good Neighbor award.

NEAR established the Good Neighbor Awards program to recognize real estate professionals for their community activism. The award is presented annually to REALTORS® who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to community service through volunteerism and civic and charitable contributions that improve the lives of local residents and make their community a better place to live.

With 25 years of real estate experience, Thomas has earned designations that include Senior Real Estate Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Accredited Staging Professional, Distinctive and Historical Properties Specialist as well as Gold Top Producer from NEAR.

As a Westford resident, Thomas has been involved with numerous town committees and charities including the Fair Housing Committee, Land Use Planning Committee, Master Plan Committee, Planning Board Member, Water Commissioner, East Boston Camps Master Plan Committee, as well as Rotary, Westford Business Association, League of Women Voters, Parish Center for the Arts and Corporator at Emerson Hospital. As a board member of the Friends of East Boston Camps, she has proudly worked to restore and preserve this natural treasure of Westford for future generations to use and enjoy.

In 2015, Thomas was recognized for her contributions to the community and named the Westford Unsung Heroine by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women at its 12th annual ceremony held at the Statehouse.
