Two Grey Ghosts Seek to Advance to All-New England Wrestling Meet

Westford's Connor Peacock and Nate Tashjy head to Salem this weekend to seek a berth in the All-New England wrestling championships on Mar. 2.

 

's Connor Peacock and Nate Tashjy will be heading to the Massachusetts All-State wrestling tournament this weekend in Salem.

There they will face the top 18 wrestlers in their respective weight classes from schools of all sizes from across the Commonwealth.

Senior captain and 120 pound division entrant Connor Peacock has had success throughout the season after earning individual honors as Dual County League 120 pound champion, Division 1 Sectional 120 pound champion, Sectional Outstanding Wrestler and placing 3rd at the Division 1 state tournament on route to a 35 – 4 record for the year.

Junior 220 pound division entrant Nate Tashjy also had a strong season, winning the Dual County League champion in his weight class,while placing second in the Division 1 Sectionals and placed sixth at the Division 1 state tournament.

Tashjy earned a 30 -7 record for the year.

The top six wrestlers in each weight class will advance to the All-New England tournament held in Providence, RI on Mar. 2nd.
