Tyngsborough Fire: Smoke Billows Over Chelmsford, Westford
A 3-alarm fire broke out in Tyngsborough Thursday. Explosions were reported.
TYNGSBOROUGH, MA — A wind-whipped fire in Tyngsborough Thursday afternoon sent smoke billowing over Westford and Chelmsford. The fire broke out around noon on Dunstable Road. The blaze reportedly started at a construction company and spread to a barn. A nearby apartment building was reportedly evacuated.
"Multiple" explosions were reported at the scene. It was immediately unclear if anyone was hurt.

The smoke conditions affecting the North Chelmsford area is being caused by a large fire in Tyngsborough. There is no danger at this time.
