Westford Academy Boys' Volleyball Drops to 0-3 in Chelmsford
Although Westford Academy head coach Brian Acheson is a teacher at Chelmsford High School by day, his students still helped the Lions to victory.

While he goes there every day for work, boys' volleyball head coach Brian Acheson was hoping for his Grey Ghosts, who fell to Chelmsford three games to one on Thursday night.
Westford was able to take the first game 25-18, but the Lions came back to take the next three games, 25-22, 25-22, and 27-25, actually leading 25-24 in the final game before losing the tiebreaker.
"It was a very good match all night," said Acheson. " Chelmsford came out flat, but they picked it up. We needed to step it up in response, but we just couldn't do it."

Andrew Levenbaum had 30 assists for the Ghosts while Ryan Mottle had 24 digs and Matthew Warner had 11 kills.
Although Acheson thinks his students were rooting for the Lions, his impression was that the Westford contingent was definitely well represented in the stands.
