Westford Academy Hockey One Win From Title Game
Thanks to a 3-1 victory over Acton-Boxboro on Wednesday, the Lady Grey Ghosts will now square off against Arlington Catholic on Sunday in the Division 1 semifinal tilt.
The dream lives on for the Westford Academy girls hockey team.
After a 3-1 victory over Acton-Boxboro on Wednesday, the Lady Grey Ghosts advanced to the Division 1 semifinal contest.
Senior forward Kim Lizotte evened the score at 1-1 in the opening period just 45 seconds after the Colonials scored the game's first goal. Westford Academy went on to score the next two goals as well, cruising to victory.

With the win, the Grey Ghosts will take on No. 7 Arlington Catholic on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The game takes place at Chelmsford Forum and the winner will play for a state championship on March 17 at TD Garden.
