Westford Academy Left Off Newsweek's 'Top 500 High Schools' List
Chelmsford, Concord-Carlisle, Lexington, and Groton-Dunstable all made the list.

Westford Academy was left off Newsweek’s recently published “ America’s Top High Schools 2014.”
The list includes 500 high schools, including 25 from Massachusetts:
- No. 19: Lexington High
- No. 28: Boston Latin
- No. 35: Westborough High
- No. 82: Weston High
- No. 86: Groton Dunstable Regional
- No. 94: Concord-Carlisle High
- No. 106: Medfield Senior High
- No. 107: Hamilton-Wenham Regional High
- No. 125: Marblehead High
- No. 135: Belmont High
- No. 136: Auburn Senior High
- No. 146: Shrewsbury Sr High
- No. 162: Nashoba Regional
- No. 213: Medway High
- No. 222: Norwell High
- No. 246: Chelmsford High
- No. 263: Newton North High
- No. 281: Ipswich High
- No. 285: Minnechaug Regional High
- No. 302: Sandwich High
- No. 318: Millis High School
- No. 338: Stoneham High
- No. 435: Grafton High School
- No. 442: North Reading High
- No. 496: Mansfield High
Newsweek said the rankings were based on standardized test scores, graduation rates, and student-teacher ratios, among other factors.
