Westford Academy Pitcher Gets Scholarship

's Will Alden has been named as the 23rd recipient of the Donald B. Young scholarship, and the first since 2009.

The scholarship is sponsored by the Alden Kindred of America, a society created in 1909 to commemorate the memory of Pilgrim settlers John and Priscilla Alden, and is only open to descendants of the Aldens.

Alden is the co-captain of the team as well as a member of the National Honor Society, and will be attending Bentley University in the fall.
