Westford Academy Ranked One of Best High Schools in Mass.

The school topped U.S. News and World Report's 2015 Best High Schools.

Westford Academy is one of the best public high schools in Massachusetts, according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2015 Best High Schools survey.

Westford was ranked No. 40 in the Bay State. Sturgis Charter Public School in Hyannis was ranked No. 1.

  • 15:1 student-teacher ratio
  • 41.8 college readiness score
  • 97 percent proficiency in math
  • 98 percent English proficiency

The national high school graduation rate is at an all-time high, according to U.S. News.

“As educators work to get even more students into caps and gowns, they are experimenting with innovative instructional methods,” U.S. News said. “Through specialized class work, high schools are facilitating teen entrepreneurs and published authors, for example. Plus, there has been a renewed interest in career and technical programs.”
