Two Grey Ghosts are heading to Norton Country Club on Monday hoping to lay claim to the title of best high school golfer in Massachusetts. Thomas Ellis and Zach Miller led the way for Westford Academy on Oct. 22 at the Division 1 North Golf Tournament in Haverhill, finishing second and tenth respectively out of the dozens of scholastic golfers from 16 separate schools. The pair's 70 and 77 stroke performances were also enough to help the team as a whole earn a spot in the finals, giving the Ghosts a one stroke edge over Acton-Boxborough for the fourth and last spot.
