Westford Academy Softball Falls to Bedford, 9-6

's softball squad fell to Bedford Friday, 9-6. 

The Grey Ghosts trailed by as many as seven runs before a late-game rally fell short. 

Emily Chateauneuf led the way offensively with three hits, while Alexa Sullivan belted a home run. 

Rachel Desrochers, Katie Lowe, Allie Brody and Christie Raymond also had hits for Westford. 

Pitchers Christie Raymond and Allie Brody allowed only three earned runs between them, but four Westford errors allowed Bedford to tally six unearned runs, leading to the loss. 

Westford falls to 3-4 on the season with the loss.
