Westford Bear, Moose, Bobcat Sightings

There have been many bear, moose, and bobcat sightings in Westford in recent weeks.

Here’s a map of the sightings:

• Brown pin = Bear
• Tan = Moose
• Red = Bobcat

There have been no reported attacks on people in Westford this year, though a bear killed a few chickens recently.

On Nov. 6, Westford officials will host a community meeting with an expert who will provide tips on preventing conflicts with such animals.
