Westford Downgrades Restrictions for Outdoor Water Use

Voluntary restrictions will remain in effect until Oct. 31.

The following is from the Westford Water Department:

Due to reduced seasonal demand the Water Department has downgraded the outdoor water use restrictions from mandatory (Stage II) to voluntary (Stage I). The Stage I voluntary outdoor water use restrictions will remain in effect until October 31—unless it becomes necessary to raise the outdoor water use restriction stage due to increased demand.

We ask that our customers continue to follow the voluntary odd/even outdoor water use restrictions—and only water in the morning (before 9:00 am) or in the evening (after 6:00 pm).
