Westford Pack 100 to Hold First Meeting of Year September 8
Prospective Scouts and Families Welcome to Join in Paper Aviation Night
With the new school year upon us, many parents are busy trying to find worthwhile activities that will also keep their children’s interest. If your Kindergarten – 5th grade son enjoys being outdoors, hiking and exploring the world around him, and if you would like your son to learn more about Westford and become more involved in his community, then Cub Scouting might be the perfect fit for your family.
Pack 100 is holding their first Pack meeting of the school year, Paper Aviation Night, Friday, September 8 at 7PM in the Abbot cafeteria. Interested boys and their families can explore aerodynamics while learning more about what scouting has to offer. The whole family is always welcome!
There is usually one Pack meeting and one to two Den meetings a month. We also hold several fun and exciting events throughout the year like the Pinewood Derby, Cubmobile races, bottle rockets, STEM night and hikes. There are also overnights at unique places like Battleship Cove, Plimoth Plantation and New England Air Museum. This November we are planning to sleepover at Roger Williams Zoo! We also teach the importance of community with several service projects throughout the year. The boys have fun while they work together and learn valuable life skills.
