If this weekend’s performance is any indication, Westford Academy’s Samantha Hyslip has a promising future if she laces up her high tops again this winter.
Hyslip and Reading Rockets standout Carlene Kluge combined for nine key fourth quarter points to help the Northeast region beat the West 52-46 at the Bay State Games last Thursday.
Victoria Faieta of Lynn and Alyssa Darling of Palmer lead the Northeast and West respectively with 15 points apiece.
Westford’s Cal Ripken 11 Year Old Team Struggles in Burlington
A group of Westford 11-year-old olds finds itself in a hole after dropping the first two games
There they fell to Falmouth 6-1 on Saturday, followed by a 7-3 loss to Revere on Sunday.
The team now will look to bounce back against Marshfield (5:00 p.m, Wednesday) and Wrentham (7:30 p.m, Thursday)
