Westford Vote on New $13M Fire Station Goes Down to the Wire
Just 41 votes determined the outcome.

Westford voters on Tuesday elected new School Committee members and approved a new fire station by a razor-thin margin.
Four candidates ran for three School Committee spots. Below are their vote totals in Tuesday’s election. (Bold means the candidate was elected.)
- Terence Ryan (incumbent): 1,174 votes
- Christopher Sanders: 1,021
- Avery Adam: 947
- Pranav Mulpur: 586
Voters narrowly approved a new fire station in town by a vote of 767 to 726. The roughly $13 million “Center Fire Station” will be built on Boston Road.
