Golden Snitches 24

The Yellow submarines took down the Golden Snitches 36-24. Amy Cornelius controlled the boards the entire game scoring 12 points, most off of rebounds. The pace of the game was set by the ball handling of Taryn and Jillian Chrysikos with help from Rachel Templeton and Lauren Bushey. The Golden Snitches were led by the offense of Jenna Klinka and Tianna Habosian. Tianna had the only 3 pointer of the game. One of the highlights of the game was the first basket of Katie Perrone’s rec basketball career.
Cool Blue 23
Hot Green Chili Peppers 17
This was Cool Blue’s first win of the season! Blue’s Brook Mains had a great game netting 11 points. Theresa Miceli was a ‘beast’ on defense. It was a great effort by the Chili Peppers who were led by stellar play by Rebecca Shepherd and Kirsten Leary.
Black Mambas 26
Crocodile Hunters 20
The Black Mambas edged out the Crocodile Hunters 26-20 after the Hunters led most of the first half. The Black Mambas were led by Amanda Brooks with 11 pts. and Lizzy Muller with 4. The Crocodile Hunters’ scoring was led by Nicole Callahan with 9 and Kate Killian with 4. Tough Mamba defense was played by Alisha Lokhande and Courtney Kennedy. Defensive leaders for the Crocs were Jenn Rigby and Jess Casey.
Da Bullz 45
Hot Shots 33
It was a competitive faceoff between the Hot Shots and Da Bullz from the very beginning. The score ended up in favor of Da Bullz with Rachel Mahan with 20 points with strong support by Kayla Flanagan and Becca Goodman. Shannon Harris and Molley Curley played aggressive defense. Alisia Raczelowski (8pts) and Danielle Victory (9 pts) led the Hot Shots’ offense while Sarah Brunelle, Jackie Joncas and Sarah Boughan led the defense. Overall both teams gave their all.
Butter 48
Lucky Leprechauns 41
Butter managed to slip by the short handed Lucky Leprechauns. Abby Hyslip led the Butter in scoring with 17 points. Janice Lin also scored and Alexis Jacobson played great defense. Nicole Pugatch led all scorers with 21 for the Leprechauns. Kelly Geraghty chipped in 8 pts.
