This was a great game that was highlighted by a second half surge by the Blue Ice. Sarah Anderson led the scoring for both teams. Good defense was played by Jackie Andry and Caroline Campbell for the Blue Ice. Leah Gibson and Jordan Underwood were standouts for the Mint.

Longhorns 25
Flaming Maroon 15
The Flaming Maroon hung tough until the Longhorns pulled away late in the contest. Kayla Schladenhauffen and Emily O’Connor played aggressive defense for the Maroon, while Jordan Bunker and Ashish Sodhi paced the Longhorn’s tenacious play. Tatiana Vanaria and Julie Waszak chipped in crucial points for the Longhorns, while Lucy Waszak pulled down key rebounds. Juliette Noone and Brianna Dilworth led the scoring for the Maroon.
Purple Platypus 17
Pink Ninjas 14
The Platypus held off a late surge by the Pink Ninjas to register a 17-14 victory. Nicole Camara led the way on offense with 10 points. Jessica Ragusa chipped in with timely passes. Colleen Ellis and Sophia Marchetti contributed mightily on defense for the Platypus. Samantha Wylie led the Pink offense and Maeli Cherry played strong defense.
Pink Ladies 34
Green Murky Waters 22
This was a hard fought, well played battle between two determined teams. The first half ended in favor of the Pink Ladies, 16-12. Due to having only 6 players, the available Pink Lady girls played many minutes. The Murky Waters were led by Dani Roder and Elizabeth Ellis. Their press towards the end of the game made the contest closer than the score suggests. Beth Geraghty, Alyna Baharozian, and Jenny Barrett led the Pink Ladies in scoring.
Lightning Bolts 26
Orange Sherbet 19
In a tough game against the Orange Sherbet, the Lightning Bolts came out on top by seven points. The Lightning Bolts were led by Emma Paulauskas with eight points and Rebecca Arnold with six points. For the Orange Sherbet, Caley McKenney had seven points and Grace Lohmeier scored six points. Also, there was great defense by both teams, and especially by Taylor Wedge and Annika Cianciolo.
Christmas Trees 32
Blue Lightning 18
The Christmas Trees won their second game of the season, led by Julia Libby’s 14 points. Everyone did a great job in this game, and Claudia Ruble had great steals. Megan Bramanti had a strong defensive game. On the Blue Lightning, McKenna Watson was their top scorer, with eight points, and Hannah Roche also had a great all-around game. Both teams played well.
Red Rockets 21
Oranges 12
The Red Rockets defeated the Oranges, 21-12, led by Pooja Prasad’s six points and the team’s strong defense.
