Westford's High-Level Sex Offenders

Westford has two high-level sex offenders—one Level 3 and the other Level 2—working in town. No high-level sex offenders live in Westford.

The Level 3 designation is reserved for the most severe offenders, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board. These types of sex offenders pose a ”high risk” to reoffend. Level 2 offenders pose a “moderate risk” to reoffend.

They are not wanted by police—and it’s illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

These are the two sex offenders working in Westford:

• Scott Baum, 44. Level 3 offender. Works at 2 Powers Rd. Convicted of lewd behavior posing a child nude in 2006 and child pornography possession in 2009.
• Michael Hermann, 58. Level 2 offender. Works at 139 Littleton Rd. Level 2 offender. Convicted of child pornography possession in 2012.
