With Playoff Berth Secure, Softball Seniors Celebrate
The MIAA playoffs are beginning soon, and Westford Academy will be there in softball.
The girls of Westford's summer, or spring to be accurate, couldn't pull off a win against Boston Latin on senior night, but it was academic as they had been able to clinch a playoff berth against Newton South on Wednesday.
Shannon Donahue had a hit in both games, including the 11-4 loss to Latin, while Rachel Desrochers had a pair of hits in the 6-4 win against Newton.

Westford now stands at 10-9 and will learn their playoff opponent next week.
