Woman Saved After Passing Out in Heart Pond
Original reports of a child in distress were inaccurate.

The Westford Fire Department saved a woman who reportedly passed out in a boat and fell in the water off South Chelmsford Road Wednesday.
The call came in 6 p.m. of a woman who had passed out in Heart Pond near the 4H Fairgrounds. Original reports indicated a young child was also in distress on the scene.
Rescue personnel revived the woman, who said she was alone in the boat and no child was in danger.
