Yellow Submarine               43

Hot Shots                              40

 

The Yellow submarines were able to defeat the Hot Shots in an outstanding outcome of 43-40.  Maimuna Ahmad, Lauren Bushey and Taryn Chrysikos all contributed shots from outside and Brianne Mills was able to drop in foul shots though restricted with a minor injury.  Amy Cornelius also crashed the boards and chipped in with 14 points.  The Subs were able to stop the Hot Shots with fantastic defense from Jillian Chrysikos, Katie Perrone, Rachel Templeton, Rike Pemp and Leah Bushey.  The hot Shots’ offense was led by Alicia Raczelowski, Danielle Victory, Haley Flaherty-Dawson, Lauren Marple, Meghan Carlyle and Kelly Bray.  Although their defense played tough the Submarines were able to pull this one out.

 

Periwinkle Platypi               35

Cool Blue                               22

 

The Periwinkle Platypi earned their first win with a hard fought battle over Cool Blue.  Taylor Freud led the Platypi with 15 points and Elise Paugh added a season high 8 points. Emily Dias added 4 points and numerous rebounds.  Sarah Zeoli tossed in 6.  Melisa Benowitz added a basket and great ball handling with Dipanshi Shah providing several steals.  Cool Blue was led by Both Corey and Brooke Mains with 6 points each and Kristen Reny and Jessica Sullivan each adding 4.  Theresa Miceli added a basket and Kathleen Fitzsimmons played strong defense.

Hot Green Chili Peppers     37

 

The Butter slipped in a bunch of 3s in to hold off the determined Chili Peppers - Stacy Shackleton and Julie Bransfield had 3 and 2 respectively.  Rachel Harkin hit a big basket at the end to help Butter maintain the lead.  Rebecca Shepherd had 20 huge points to keep the game close. Michelle Thompson and Rebecca Holtom each added a few baskets of their own.

Molly Aulson and Mackenzie Brewer led the Leprechauns with very strong offensive performances.  Nicole Pugatch, Liz Dick and Amanda Charleton played a solid defensive game. The Golden Snitches were led by Jenna Klinka and Tianna Habosian.

With a fast paced aggressive game the Yellow Submarines took the win, yet again, with the leading scorers being the Chrysikos Twins, Amy Cornelius and Lauren Bushey.  It was a tight game in which both teams put up a tough fight.

Ocean Spray pulled away in the second half after a very Cool Blue team led at the half.  The Spray were led by Shannon Donohue with 8 inside points along with strong rebounding.  Hailey MacDonald chipped in 6 points and stellar passing.  Blue was led by Brook Mains with 8 points followed by Jess Sullivan and Kathleen Fitzsimmons with 6 each.

Black Mambas                      14

 

In an intense battle between two separated halves of last year’s Mac N Cheese Team, the Hot Shots came out on top of the Black Mambas.  For the Hot shots the scoreboard was dominated by Sarah Brunelle, Haley Flaherty-Dawson and Alesia Raczelowski with great offensive assists from Lauren Marple and Kelly Bray.  Jackie Joncas and Meghan Carlyle dominated the boards.  Intense defense was played by Sarah Boughan, Michi Downey and Danielle Victory.  The Black Mambas were led on offense by Amanda Brooks, Ashley Geary and Elizabeth Muller.  Great defense was played by Samantha Kelly and Alisha Lochande.  Great game played by all.

 

Periwinkle Platypi               32

The Periwinkle Platypi defeated the Golden Snitches on Wednesday 32-24.  Taylor Freud led the Platypi scoring 14 points and dominating the boards.  For the Snitches Jenna Klinka posed a big threat scoring 6 points.  Both teams played well.

The Butter spread it all around tonight with almost everyone scoring.  Alexis Jacobson, Richa Kaul and Rachel Harkins, joined by the rest of the team, came out on top over Da Bullz who were led by Rachel Mahan and Kayla Flanagan.
