Celtics 26 Bears 8


The first half was very intense with the score 9-8. The Celtics held the Bears scoreless in the 2nd half. Brian Alibrandi had a big game for the Bears scoring 6 points. Andrew Jeryzlo contributed the other basket. For the Celtics, Jack Quinn scored 9 points, 7 in the second half and Ernie Barber-Mingo came alive in the 2nd half. He was scoreless in the first half but scored 9 points in the second half. Cole Mazzaferro and Tim Slattery also scored 4 points for the Celtics.

Spartans 30 Blue Hawks 14

Tucker Champeau scored 6 points for the Blue Hawks and Ben Tratenalla poured in 4 more. Tony Roddy and Ryan Canha put in a great effor on defense. For the Spartans, they won with very balanced scoring. Ben Lawrence(6); Ben Trotter(4); Zach Lawrence(4); Ryan O'Regan(2); Bhargave Pappau(4); Mike Ricciardi(6); and Sam Sahoo(4) all scored. 

Hawks 23 Wizards 14


Joe Baker had a big game for the Wizards scoring 12 points. Kyle Sawyer and Nick Ewing played very aggressively on defense. For the Hawks, Ben Nudler(6); Owen McNeil(8) and Tommy Olmstead(7) led the offensive attack. Jack Lamy and Max Bombardi played well defensively.

Tigers 23 Thunderbolts 18


In a very exciting game that was tied with 2 minutes to go, the Tigers came away with the win. Justin Dulczewski had 10 points and John Alfano scored 7 more. Jack Quaranto had 2 baskets and put in a great effort on defense. For the Thunderbolts, Simon Wang(10) and Ryan Domit(6) had great games. Henry Laushine(2) and Jay Wallace put in a great effort on defense.

Blue Celtics 26 Silver Bullets 21

Tim Loosigian led all scorers with 12 points while teammate Liam Doolin added 8 to lead the Celtics past the Silver Bullets 26-21.  Jake Barisano paced the Silver Bullets with 7 points while James Weaver and Cam Barisano both chipped in 5 points.

Blue Tornados 35, Phantoms 33

For the second time this season the Blue Tornados and Phantoms played a thrilling game that was decided with less than 10 seconds left.  Anish Venketesh played tough on the boards and had 4 points for the Phantoms  to keep the game close throughout.  Ryan Humphrey had 8 points to help the Tornados build a 9 point lead late in the game.  However, Scott Beattie led a furious comeback by the Phantoms that included 3 three pointers, the last one which tied the game with 20 seconds left.  The Tornados Michael Zacharchuk would not be denied though.  He stole the ball at midcourt and hit a driving layup with 4 seconds left for the last of his 13 points to give the Tornados the two point win.  Beattie ended up with 24 points in a valiant effort for the Phantoms.

 


Generals 32 Gold Rush 21

Paced by a balanced offensive attack, the Generals knocked off the Gold Rush 32-21.  Dan Wilson scored 10 points, Jason Fitzgerald added 8 and Sean Grimes contributed 6.  For the Gold Rush, Oliver Davey led the way with 6 points while Nick Faretra added 5.


Green Monsters 20  Grey Ghosts 12

Josh Rosenstein poured in a game high 7 points while Blayde Tremblay added 5 to help the Green Monsters knock off the Grey Ghosts 20-12.  Colin Carney led all Ghosts with 5 points.
