Surfers 15
UmpaLumpas 5
The Surfers surfed to a playoff victory. Alexandar Walter and Jamie Wolpert played awesome offense for the UmpaLumpas while Ellen Olszowy played great defense. The Surfers had a lot of steals and great defense by Catherine Gallant and Emily Stander. Overall, it was an exciting first playoff game with good effort from all.
Blue Lightening 20
LemonHeadz 18
Boom ! Lightening strikes again ! Meaghan McGee was on fire with the shots ! Anya Brown, Kara Mammola, and Victoria Andrews fought for the ball til the end ! Molly O'Regan, Isabel Smith, and Priyanka Maudgal stayed strong all game. The LemonHeadz put up a good fight with Rachel Murray, Tara Castelino, Amanda Ciulla, Tori Enis and Pratyusha Mulpur all hot on the shots ! The victory was deserved !
Electric Eels 14
Terror Tucans 9
This was a tough battle the Eels and the Tucans. The Tucans won the first half but the Eels pulled through and won the nail biting game. Morgan Rose and Emily Blagg played outstanding offense for the Eels and Sarah Wilsack helped out with fabulous defense. Lea Trainor and Grace O'Sullivan had an amazing offensive game for the Tucans and Morgan Freud played a fabulous game overall. Great game girls and good luck to the Eels in their upcoming games !
Green Gobstoppers 17
Orange Crush 15
The Gobstoppers fought their way back from an 8 point deficit and stole the game from the Crush 17-15. The Crush started the game strong with some great passing and shooting by Sydney Jones, Olivia Lohmeier and Fiona Cotter. The Gobstoppers stayed competitive in the first half with aggressive defense from Alison and Grace Dillon, steals from Sydney Roche and rebounds by Maddie Laliberte. The Gobstoppers closed the gap in the 2nd half with baskets from Jackie LaBarre and blocks from Grace Finneral. Sam Eynon tied the game with a free throw and sealed a win with a shot from the court just before the buzzer!
StarBursts 18
Smurfs 15
The Starbursts beat the Blue Smurfs in a tough game. The Smurfs played great both defensively and offensively with contributions by Carolyn Graham, Caitlin Cannuscio and Riley MacDermott. The StarBursts Olivia Vallone, Emma Quaranto, Madelyn Guthrie, and Cailin McEnaney were tough competitors for the Smurfs defense.

Phoenix 7
Everybody played groovily in a match between the fabulous Flurples and the phenomenal Phoenix. For the Phoenix, Angela Mancuso and Samantha Dougherty were standout players. For the Flurples, Chip Crimmons and Nicole Nightingale made a splash. Both teams did a jubilant job ! To be continued........

Gobstoppers 13
It was a great game between the Gobstoppers and the Electric Eels, but the Eels pulled through for the win. Madeline Laliberte and Jackie LaBarre played fabulous offense for the Gobstoppers with Sydney Roche and Caroline Tierney played tough defense. As for the Eels, Morgan Rose and Sarah Wilsack had a stupendous offensive game for the Eels with help from Emily Blagg and Katie Flanagan on defense. Both teams played wonderful and it was a great game to watch. Good Luck on your upcoming game Eels !
Blue Lightening 20
Crazy Pink Panthers 19
Light up the sky like lightening ! Meaghan McGee shot the winning basket in the last 8 seconds of the game. Katie Cullen from the Crazy Pink Panthers was hitting all of her shots along with Kelley Burbine and Caroline Gabriel. Anya Brown was aggressive until the end. Isabel Smith, Molly O'Regan, Brianna Frankfort and Kara Mammola fought all game to get the win. Victoria Andrews and Priyanka Maudgal were tight on defense all game. The Crazy Pink Panthers were a TOUGH opponent but Blue Lightening strikes again !
Shamrock Shooters 20
Surfers 9
In this second round of playoffs, the Shooters came out ahead of the Blue Surfers with a score of 20 to 9. It was a slow start for the Shooters but a team effort brought them to victory. Amelia Devlin did a great job getting open. Eleanor Whitehead poured on her aggressive defense. Jessie Peternell had many shots while Laura Devlin worked her magic of getting the ball to the basket. For the Surfers, Emily Stander also had lots of shots while Mya Barber Mingo moved the ball around the court nicely. Danielle Reynolds was aggressive in stealing the ball and rebounding. Team work on both sides made for an exciting game !

StarBursts 12
A psychedelic game was played by the Flurples and the Starbursts. For the Starbursts, Laurel Humphrey, Emily Morin and Emma Quaranto played a great all around game. For the Flurples, Chip Crimmons and Lexi Wilson played dandy defense. Sydney Kennedy and Grace Santana were blissful ball handlers while Caroline Burke had fabulous free throws. Kiley Flanagan hustled harmoniously and Cindy McLaughlin and Nicole Nightingale were optimistic on offense.
