The Butter’s Julie Bransfield bested Da Bullz with a blistering shooting night hitting three 3-pointers and scoring a total of 19 points.  Da Bullz superstar, Becca Goodman, led all scorers with 24 points.    The Butter’s slippery fast break broke open the game letting loose Richa Kaul and Stacy Shackleton for a few quick buckets.  Kaitlin Canha and Kayla Flanagan also chipped in with scoring for Da Bullz.

Yellow Submarines                        46

Hot Shots                                            33

The Yellow Submarines advanced to the finals with a 46-33 win over the Hot Shots. The game featured the strong shooting of Taryn Chrysikos with 12 first half points allowing the Submarines to open up an early lead that they would never relinquish.

The Hot Shots relied on the outside shooting game that earned them a spot in the WYBA HSG final four but were not able to continue their hot shooting from the previous game to make a run in this one. The Hot Shots were led by Sarah Brunelle with a game high 14 points, most on a nice looking high arcing outside shot.

The Yellow Submarines frontcourt of Amy Cornelius, Brianna Mills, Rike Pemp, Rachel Templeton, and Leah Bushey were able to control the rebounding as a result of the Hot Shots strategy of long range jumpers. Jillian Chrysikos chipped in 12 points. Lauren Bushey, Maimuna Ahmad, and Katie Perrone each had a basket to add to the scoring of the fast-paced Submarines. Working the point guard position for the Hot Shots was Danielle Victory.

Alesia Raczelowski was literally all over the floor defensively. Jackie Joncas finished a strong all-around game with 8 points, Haley Flaherty-Dawson netted 6 points, and Micki Downey rounded out the scoring for the scoring for the Hot Shots.
