After a slow first half versus Ocean Spray, Butter came out sizzling in the second half winning 33-25. Under the basket, Tasneem Bhindarwala was a rebounding machine. Rich Kaul played brick-wall defense while Alexis Jacobson had some big baskets. Abby Hyslip, Julie Bransfield and Stacy Shackleton combined for 29 points. For Ocean Spray, Danielle Donovan and Hailey MacDonald played strong offense and defense combining for 17 points. Go Butter!
Green Chili Pepper 33
Lucky Leprechauns 26
In a game that went back and forth until right until the end, the Green Chili Peppers squeaked out a victory 33-26. Rebecca Shepherd led all scorers with 15 points. The Chili Peppers were great at the foul line making 6 critical points. The Lucky Leprechauns were led by Mackenzie Brewer’s 11 points. The Chili Peppers played solid defense led by Caroline Rosinski who had a team high 7 steals.
Cool Blue 36
Hot Shots 20
Cool Blue won the game against the Hot Shots. Alesia Raczelowski of the Hot Shots hit two three-pointers and Danielle Victory stood tall on the boards. On Cool Blue Kristina Reny scored 8 points and Theresa Miceli chipped in with 2. Great game for both teams. Yay!
Ocean Spray 44
Golden Snitches 32
After building a comfortable lead in the first half, Ocean Spray Had to fight off a furious comeback by the Golden Snitches in the second half to take the win. OC was led by Karina Camargo and Rachel Stanley, both with 12 points. Danielle Donovan added 8 points. Jessica Linnel, Hailey MacDonald and Anisha Rajapadhye all added a couple baskets. The Spray team defense was all over the ball. Becca Robey led the Snitches with 10 points as Kyra Kruger and Jenna Klinka added 7 points each.

Da Bullz 27
The Yellow Submarines had a great game against Da Bullz. Rike Pemp had a big score while Brianna Mills was a monster on the boards. Amy Cornelius, Maimuna Ahmad and Leah Bushey led the Sub’s defense. Taryn and Jillian Chrysikos led the team with many assists. For Da Bullz Becca Goodman, Rachel Mahan and Kayla Flanagan led the offense while Molly Curley, Shannon Harris and Meghan O’Neil played an unstoppable defense. It was a riveting match and the Subs were able to add another victory.
Black Mambas 31
Periwinkle Platypi 25
In a tight back and forth battle, the Black Mambas edges the Periwinkle Platypi 31-25. The Black Mambas scoring was led by Meghan McGrath with 10 points and Amanda Brooks with 11. The Platypi were led by Taylor Freud with 12 and Elise Paugh with 6. Defense for the Mambas was led by Courtney Kennedy while Catherine Darin led the Platypi.

Crocodile Hunters 19
Great win by Butter! It was close in the first half but ultimately Butter came through with the win. The Hunters played awesome even though they only had 5 players with Katie Campbell with 9 points and great defense by Jenn Rigby. Abby Hyslip led Butter with 12 points and Stacy Shackleton had 11. Richa Kaul and Julie Bransfield played great defense. Tasneem Bhindarwala added 4 point as well. Great games from both teams.
