• More Than 1,000 Acres Protected In Massachusetts (northeastexplorer.com) — A major conservation deal has permanently protected over 1,000 acres of open space spanning Westwood and Dover, including popular Hale Education trails. The new restrictions link Hale land with Powisset Farm and Noanet Woodlands, creating more than 2,100 contiguous protected acres for hiking, biking, and year-round outdoor recreation just outside Boston.
