• Iconic MA Discount Store Closing For Good After 40 Years (patch.com) — Westwood shoppers are saying goodbye to Frugal Fannie's Fashion Warehouse on Wilson Way, which is closing after more than 40 years in town. Owners cite medical hardships, key retirements and an expiring lease, and have launched a going-out-of-business sale with increasing markdowns and gift card redemptions available through Nov. 11.
   

• Possible Medical Event May Have Contributed to Westwood School Bus Crash (town.news) — Westwood families are learning more about Tuesday's school bus crash near Downey Street, where a bus carrying Downey and Pine Hill students left the roadway and sent one child and the driver to the hospital. Police say a possible medical event involving the driver is under investigation, while school staff and emergency crews quickly helped students contact parents and get safely home.
