Westwood, MA — Westwood residents with questions about the town's proposed $39.98 million Fire Station 1 project can stop by the Main Library on Thursday evening, Oct. 22, for an informal community conversation.
Members of the Fire Station 1 Advisory and Community Engagement Committee will answer questions, hear concerns and discuss plans for a new station at the former Deerfield Elementary School site.
The conversation comes ahead of a Special Town Meeting on Monday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. at Westwood High School, where residents will vote on funding for the project. A separate debt-exclusion ballot question is scheduled for Nov. 3.
