$1.1M Improvement Project Begins In Weymouth
Improvements include upgrades to certain intersections, including new sidewalks and traffic signals and a resurfaced roadway.

WEYMOUTH, MA – A $1.1 million infrastructure project began in Weymouth Tuesday. The project is state-funded and will be implemented at the Washington Street, Pleasant Street and Mutton Lane intersections.
Work includes new traffic signals, included projected left turn signals, a resurfaced roadway, new sidewalks and signal coordination between intersections.
Work is expected to be completed in late fall, according to Mayor Robert Hedlund.
