Jennifer Bell, a resident of Weymouth, MA, was recently inducted into Providence College's chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the national honor society for Foreign Language Studies. Bell is pursuing a degree in Global Studies.
Kristin Carey and Kevin Jones, each of Weymouth were recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines
Colleen Travis, a University of Massachusetts Boston student from South Weymouth, MA has received one of the state's new High-Demand Scholarships, awarded to students pursuing careers for which the state has an urgent need for skilled talent. The scholarships will assist students who are majoring in health care, STEM, business and finance sectors, and planning careers in fields such as computer science, engineering, nursing and the life sciences.
