Adams Middle School Closed Monday
Due to several burst pipes, the school will not open Monday.

WEYMOUTH, MA - February break will go a day longer for students at Adams Middle School.
Principal Matthew Meehan announced Saturday that several burst pipes have caused flooding in three areas of the school. The areas affected are the fitness center, main office and basement level classrooms.
“Director of maintenance, central administration, Adams staff and several restoration contractors have been working day and night to repair and clean all of the damaged areas. Based upon preliminary test results of the building and the extensive damage, additional time is needed to restore classrooms and ensure rooms are safe and ready for student use,” Meehan said in a statement.
