Whether you're looking to improve your heart health, build strength, increase flexibility, or simply stay active, The Center for Physical Wellness at South Shore Health offers a variety of professionally guided exercise programs designed to help individuals of all fitness levels reach their wellness goals.
Led by experienced exercise therapists, the Center's small-group, aquatic, and virtual classes provide a supportive environment where participants can safely improve their fitness while gaining confidence and motivation.
This fall, The Center for Physical Wellness is expanding its offerings with two new afternoon classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
Heart Healthy - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Designed for individuals with a history of cardiac or pulmonary conditions, this class helps participants improve endurance, build strength, and support long-term cardiovascular health through supervised exercise and conditioning.
Stretch & Core - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Using Pilates-inspired techniques, this class focuses on strengthening the core, enhancing flexibility, improving posture, and increasing overall mobility for everyday activities.
Community members are invited to experience the programs firsthand by attending a complimentary trial class with completed registration paperwork. Those interested may also observe a class prior to enrolling.
Classes are offered at convenient times to accommodate a variety of schedules.
