Barrel House Z Gets OK for Tasting Room

The Board of Licensing Commissioners approved the alcohol license for Barrel House Z.

WEYMOUTH, MA — The tasting room at Weymouth's first brewery is closer to opening.

This week, the Board of Licensing Commissioners approved the alcohol license for Barrel House Z, located on Woodrock Road. The brewery hopes to open the sampling room within the next week, according to the Patriot Ledger. The opening is pending ABCC approval.

The brewey is run by Hingham residents Pat Burke, Russ Heissner, and Pat McAuley. Heissner is know for being the first head brewer at Harpoon.

The brewery is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday.
