Boards to Consider Demolition at Weymouth Landing

WEYMOUTH, MA — A vacant building at the Weymouth Landing could be demolished in the near future.

Wednesday, the Braintree and Weymouth conservation commissions will hold a join-meeting to consider developer Nick Delegas' application to demolish the former Old Brick Grille.

Weymouth is required by an agreement with the MBTA to open a portion of Smelt Brook to encourage fish to travel upstream and downstream before and after spawning season. The best option currently runs under the building, according to the Patriot Ledger.
