Boston Bruins Coaches Coming To Weymouth

Three Boston Bruins assistant coaches are coming to Weymouth’s Connell Memorial Rink on Saturday afternoon.

Boston Bruins assistant coaches Doug Houda, Geoff Ward, and Doug Jarvis
will practice with children and then take photos and sign autographs.

Blades, the Bruins mascot will also be present.

The “Coaches Caravan”  event, which begins at 1 p.m. is part of the Try
Hockey for Free Day .

The event is part of the Boston Bruins G.O.A.L! (Get Out And Learn) program, which encourages kids, age 4-9, new to the sport of hockey, to try it in a game-based, fun environment. Skates, helmets, and all necessary hockey equipment will be provided free of charge.
