Boston Man Charged With Fentanyl Sale In Weymouth

Police say a Boston man was caught by detective selling drugs in Columbian Square Monday afternoon,

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Boston man was caught by detective selling drugs in Columbian Square Monday afternoon, police said.

Yoqui Abrue, 28, was arrested and charged with distributing fentanyl and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act, according to the Patriot Ledger.

Abrue was taken into custody after detective allegedly saw him meet with a known drug user and make a hand-to-hand transaction. When the other person was confronted by police, she had two grams of fentanyl on her, police said.

Four cellphones and $800 in cash were seized from Abreu, police said.
