Boston Radio Station Coming to Weymouth Town Cleanup

Weymouth's 5th Annual Town Wide Cleanup will be held Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

The Weymouth Mayor’s office has planned a cookout after this weekend’s Annual Town Wide Cleanup that will feature a guest appearance from Boston radio station Mix 104.1.

Casey Savage, an assistant to the Mayor said the cookout will begin at noon at the Ralph Talbot Amphitheater, once residents are finished picking up bottles and debris all across town. Mix 104.1 will be handing out prizes at the post-party for guests.

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up to remove trash and debris from public parks, playgrounds, beaches and neighborhoods.

Each volunteer can register to clean up a specific area of town. The Weymouth DPW will be picking up the debris throughout the day.

“Please sign up with the Mayor’s Office to register for a location or team up with friends and neighbors to work together in the area of your choice,” the Town said in a statement..

Gloves and yard waste bags will be available for pick-up between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. at the Department of Public Works parking lot, 120 Winter Street.
