New South Shore Trader Joe’s Construction Continues

Progress is being made in the construction of the Trader Joe's at the Hingham Shipyard.

The specialty grocery store will open in the parking lot between the CVS and the Vitamin Shoppe. Currently a structure already stands in the Hingham lot, which is minutes from the Weymouth town line.

Leslie Cohen, Senior Vice President of Development for Samuels & Associates said the opening date has not been announced.

Trader Joe's will be the fifth grocery store to open in Hingham joining Whole Foods, Stop & Shop, the Fruit Center Marketplace and Fresh Market.

Trader Joe's  has over a dozen other locations in the state, including one in nearby Hanover.
