Date Set for Override Election
The Weymouth Town Council approved the date 10-1.

Voters will have their say on a proposed $6.5 million Proposition 2 1/2 override this summer.
Monday night, the town council voted 10-1 to hold the override vote on August 4, according to WATD.
Town Councilor Robert Conlon, who preferred holding the vote on election day in November, was the only councilor that voted in the negative.
