Dryer Lint Blamed For Weymouth House Fire

WEYMOUTH, MA — A dryer is being blamed for a Tuesday morning fire in Weymouth.

At about 8 a.m., a firefighter driving an engine on North Street noticed fire coming out of a home. An investigation determined that fire started in the laundry area of the home and was caused by dryer lint, according to the Patriot Ledger.

Everyone inside the home was able to get out on their own and were in the process of calling 911 when firefighters arrived.
