Father Saves Daughter from Hit and Run Driver

A father living in a Weymouth motel was left with bruises after getting hit by a car while out on a walk with his daughter.

William Preston told FOX 25 that while walking back to the motel with his daughter and her mother Wednesday night, a hit and run driver slammed into them.

Preston was able to shield the baby from the car, who suffered no injuries from the incident despite flipping backwards in her stroller.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as an older model black Toyota Corolla. Anyone with information is asked to call the Weymouth Police Department at (781) 335-1212.
