Former Weymouth Man Said He Would 'Kill Anybody For A Fee': Feds
Acemar Damaceno, who lived in Weymouth until he was arrested last year, pleaded guilty to a federal weapon charge Friday.

WEYMOUTH, MA – A former Weymouth resident who told an informant he would "kill anybody for a fee" pleaded guilty to a federal weapon charge Friday, the U.S. Attorney's office said. Acemar Damaceno, 38, a Brazilian national who entered the United States illegally in 2002, pleaded guilty to one count of being an alien in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Authorities began investigating Damaceno after learning a man known as "Marcus" was offering to sell weapons to a confidential informant, the USAO said. On March 11, 2017, the informant visited Marcus' home in Weymouth, where Marcus allegedly told him he would "kill anybody for a fee."
Marcus then showed the informant a .45-caliber handgun, a shotgun and a bag containing various amounts of ammunition that Marcus hid in the basement of his home, authorities said. He also offered to sell the handgun to the informant for $1,500.

The informant identified Marcus as Damaceno, according to the USAO.
The following month, Damaceno was stopped while leaving his home and admitted he was not in the country legally. Officers searched his home and found a .45-caliber Kimber Ultra Ten II pistol loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition and an Iver Johnson Champion shotgun, authorities said. The pistol had been reported stolen in Connecticut six years earlier.
