If it Rains…Where to Watch Weymouth High School Graduation
Weymouth's 10:00 a.m. graduation will either take place on the field or inside the gym.
Weymouth High School’s class of 2013 will most likely graduate indoors as rain is expected Saturday morning.
In a message to parents, WHS Principal Laura Stevenson said the weather is a major concern and if it rains, Weymouth’s 10 a.m. graduation will be held in the high school gymnasium.
The decision to hold the commencement ceremony indoors will be made by 12:30 p.m. Friday, based on the weather forecast, Stevenson said.

“We have already received numerous inquiries regarding the graduation ceremony with the inclement weather forecast for Saturday,” Stevenson said. “Graduation will happen rain or shine.”
Saturday’s morning forecast calls for showers before 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Forecast. The rest of the morning is expected to be cloudy ith a high near 68 degrees.

Stevenson’s final decision will be sent out to parents via “An Alert Now” email.
