It’s ‘Business As Usual' At Weymouth Schools After Marathon Tragedy
Weymouth Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Salim said so students raised issues on Monday in wake of the Boston Marathon explosions.

Weymouth Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Salim said school carried on as usual on Monday in wake of the Boston Marathon explosions.
“No students raised issues,” Salim said. “It was business as usual with the schools.”
Dr. Salim said Weymouth school nurses and psychiatrists are available for any students who exhibit signs of stress and anxiety as a result of last week’s terrorist attack.

Last week, the Weymouth School administration sent parents emails on how to talk to students about violence.
Monday was the students' first day back at school since the marathon.

Salim said the faculty will continue to look for any concerning behaviors from students this week who may have been affected by the explosions.
