Local Businesses Ready to Vie for Pizza Supremacy at PizzaPalooza
The event to benefit the Weymouth Food Pantry is set for Aug. 5.

One of Weymouth’s most popular events is only a few weeks away.
The Weymouth Chamber of Commerce’s PizzaPalooza 2015 is scheduled for Aug. 5 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Weymouth High School.
The pizza competition to benefit the Weymouth Food Pantry will see up to 18 restaurants vie for the title of best pizza in town. There will be a people’s choice award, kid’s choice, and an award from a panel of local judges, according to the event’s Facebook page.

Tickets are $10 per person and $25 per family. Additional donation encouraged for families of six or more.
A large crowd is expected during the evening. Last year, over 1,500 people attended the event.
