Man Held At Gunpoint In Home Invasion

WEYMOUTH, MA — A local man was the victim of a gunpoint robbery Sunday morning.

Police told the Patriot Ledger that they responded to the incident at about 4:40 a.m. Sunday. The tenant of the apartment told police that when he opened the door to let a woman out, three men came in and assaulted him. The victim said at least two of the men had guns.

The three suspects left after they were unable to restrain the victim and gave up. A loaded handgun magazine and zip-ties were left at the scene.
