Motorcyclist Dies After Collision With SUV In Weymouth

WEYMOUTH, MA – A motorcyclist died after colliding with an SUV in Weymouth Thursday night. The crash occurred around 6:50 p.m. on Bill Delahunt Parkway near the intersection of Shea Memorial Drive and Patriot Parkway.

Both vehicles were fully engulfed in flames when first responders arrived, police said. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and later died. A passenger on the motorcycle was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in critical condition.

Those involved in the crash have not yet been identified.

The collision is under investigation. Police have not filed any charges at this time.
