New Hampshire Man Charged with Raping Two Children in Weymouth

WEYMOUTH, MA — A New Hampshire man accused of raping a child in Weymouth is free on $35,000 bail.

Abdulrham A. Abduljalil, 31, was indicted this week on two counts of rape of a child with force, two counts of aggravated statutory rape, one count of assault with intent to rape and five counts of indecent assault and battery on someone under age 14, according to The Patriot Ledger. The indictment moves the case to Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham.

Few details are available. A police report was impounded in Quincy District Court but judge's notes say the victims were a 9-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl.

Abduljalil was arraigned in Quincy District Court on May 31. Bail was posted on June 13. Police say he violated the terms of his bail less than two weeks later when he was seen driving near the victims' home. Weymouth police wrote in the report that they planned on seeking a warrant for the violation but he has not been arraigned on the charge.

His superior court arraignment has yet to be scheduled.
